Lorraine started in the financial services business with Kansas City Life in 1992. She joined the Associates at MONY Life Insurance in 1994. MONY was purchased by Equitable in 2004 and Lorraine represents the company as a Registered Representative. Her career in insurance and investments was preceded by 17 years of teaching from preschool through adult education.


Being a Financial Professional enables Lorraine to use her teaching skills as she educates her clients. She increases her own knowledge and skills through continuing education in the professional and individual lines of products and services available in the industry. With ever changing rules, regulations and rates, she keeps abreast of what is current and best for her clients on both a personal and business level.


Lorraine is dedicated to providing clients with both the professional and individual attention necessary to help them achieve their financial goals as well as ongoing service as their needs change. She strives to develop lasting relationships by providing ethical service based on sound financial principals. No two individuals or businesses are alike. Lorraine is a graduate of Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts. She has her LUTCF designation, is a recipient of the National Quality Award, and a member of the Johnson/Wyandotte Chapter of the National Association of Life Underwriters. An active member in her community she is involved in the Ladies of Charity, Business Network International (BNI), American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), and various functions with the Alumni Association of Emporia State University, her husband Fred’s Alma Mater.


On a personal level, Lorraine finds joy and satisfaction in her line of work because she has been through her own trials and challenges in life, which enables her to be compassionate and understanding. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother; been divorced and remarried and knows the joys and complications of today’s blended family. She tragically lost her oldest son while he was traveling abroad on business in 2003. Lorraine is married to her best friend, Fred Kipp, retired left-handed pitcher for the Yankees as well as the Brooklyn and LA Dodgers. She has a great deal of knowledge of what it takes to run a small business as Fred manages his own business since his retirement from baseball. Fred is the project manager of a contracting business specializing in concrete and pipe work, and Lorraine is an integral part of his business.
